I've started pole for fitness and this pole has stood up to my trying all the tricks like inversions and spins: it's sturdy and reliable, works well, and has helped me transform my body.
I highly recommend this product, my 250lb brother got on it so no worries.
Be sure to find a beam and tighten it well, but I never needed to retighten it in months since the installation.

I purchased this pole for my wife a few months ago and she was really excited when I gave it to her. I finally set it up a few days ago and I was really impressed on how easy it was to put together. It only took me about 20 minutes to set it up from taking it out of the box to putting it my living room. I have no safety concerns with it because once it's tightened it is not coming off. It also came with a nice carry bag made for the pole so everything has its own storage spot to go in.

So I was doing pole at a studio in Lansing until it closed. I took about 5 months off from pole because I couldn't afford an expensive pole and I've been burned before buying cheap ones off amazon (that pole turned out to be a prop that held NO weight before it tipped over, like no leaning on it even). I was nervous about this and bought it after pretty extensive research. Set up wasn't bad, just make sure you’re paying attention to the directions, I tried to wing it and ended up starting over, no problems with tightening, had it for weeks now and only tightened it once, just a little. I have carpet and popcorn ceilings, and have no issues whatsoever, and no scarring to the ceiling. Great pole!!
This was my first pole purchase. I am in a dance class so I am learning pole tricks and practice at home. It is very easy to set up and take down (portable). I have moved it twice and it’s been set up easily each time. It is also very sturdy. I weigh 150 pounds. I absolutely recommend this pole over a lot of the others. VERY SATISFIED!

sooooo much fun!!! love!!! sturdy!!! and that was my main concern I'm about 150lbs. I was scared it wasn't gonna hold my weight- easy to set up !!! such a great investment compared to other travel poles I’ve bought THAT DIDN'T HOLD. I’ve looked into other poles so much $ NOTHING COMPARES SERIOUSLY THE BEST LOVE IT! the price isn't too bad either!

This product was easy to install and sturdy. I questioned whether I would have sufficient space in my one bedroom apartment for it. I was surprised at how little space I needed. I received it earlier than expected. I've had it for about a week and a half now and I love it. Great work out and fun, too! I would definitely recommend this product.

So this is the first pole I have ever bought. I had been taking a class learning how to do tricks and spins, so I wanted a strong pole that I could do spins and hang on from home. I live in an apartment so I also needed something that wouldn't damage the ceiling that I could easily take down, as the only place I could put up the pole was in my living room. This pole came recommended from my teacher and I have to say I love it. I had read reviews of other poles and so I was nervous about buying a pole in general. This pole let me hang on it upside down, and do spins both clockwise and counter clockwise. The one thing I would make sure of is that you tighten it all the way to the ceiling pretty well, I got lazy about really tightening it well after each time I've put it up and it caused some damage to one of the pink extensions needed for the 9ft ceiling. I did contact customer service and they are sending me a replacement extension! Customer service with this pole is excellent. The takedown and put-up time of this pole is about 10 minutes, which to me is perfect and it is super easy to put together as I needed no help.
Update: I have had this pole for 2 years now and I still absolutely love it! Still a fun workout and a great pole, have had no problems using it and use it quite often:) I don't normally do review updates, but since I was looking for reliability when I was searching for a pole to buy, though I would add this update, Highly recommend the MiPole :)
After having another pole for a few years, I decided it was time to upgrade to a more professional reliable dance pole. The MiPole was a great buy!!! It is so easy to take down and its portability allows me to take my pole anywhere. It has the high quality of the X-Pole, without the expensive price tag. Highly recommended.

I've had this pole for a couple of months, and I work out on it 3-4 times a week for an hour each time. I have yet to need to tighten it-- it hasn't budged at all! And believe me, I definitely put it to the test. I do some advanced moves on it, and I do a lot of climbing and inverting.
I would recommend it for beginners, BUT I would not recommend trying to pole dance without taking lessons first!
