How quickly will my mipole™ order ship?

Orders for mipoles ship FREE via fast and reliable UPS GROUND Shipping, and ship in a plain brown shipper carton. Tracking is sent quickly after order placement. Typical transit time to a US address is 1 to 3 days.

Replacement parts orders ship via your choice of USPS Ground Advantage, USPS First Class, or USPS Priority (quickest delivery). Shipping costs to order's zip code are shown at checkout. Tracking is sent quickly after order placement.

Orders for the mipole™360 and the original mipole™ placed by 12 noon EST Monday-Friday will ship for free on the SAME DAY via UPS GROUND. Orders received after 12 noon will ship the next business day. We have shipping facilities in the US on the East Coast (PA) and the West Coast (CA) and shipments will be made from the facility closest to your shipping address to expedite the quickest delivery to you. All mipole™ styles are currently IN STOCK!

What is the difference between the original mipole™ and the mipole™ 360?

The original mipole™ is a 50mm static pole (non spinning) that can be used for beginner to advanced moves. The mipole™ 360 has two modes: static OR spinning and you can switch easily from each mode at the base of the pole while the pole is installed, giving you the best of both worlds.

How tall will this pole extend? My ceiling at home is 8' 10''.

The mipole™ works on ceilings from 7' 6" up to 9' (2.28m to 2.75m). You will need to make sure it is installed on flat, non-flexing, parallel surfaces. No angled or vaulted ceilings! Maximum height is 9 feet. Maximum extensions per installed pole is two. Do not extend higher than 9 feet.

Is mipole™ really strong enough to hold my weight?

Yes! mipole™ was designed to easily hold weights of up to 250 lbs.(114 kgs), so you can rest assured this pole will handle any professional pole dance moves. All you have to do is make sure you install it properly!

What is this pole made of?

The mipole™ is constructed of high-quality steel chrome poles, precision-machined metal, and two connectors custom made from high-strength, precision-molded plastic parts. Installation does not require permanent screws or mounts to your home.

How much does this pole weigh?

The mipole™ weighs about 18 lbs., including the carry bag and assembly tool.

I have a carpet at home. Will this pole work?

Yes! mipole™ works on any stable flat surface, including carpet, wood, or tile.

Can I spin and hold myself upside down on this pole?

As a truly professional portable pole kit, you can do any professional moves you like. Just make sure you know the limits of your pole dancing skills, and don't try to do any dangerous moves if you aren't sure you can. But otherwise, you will have a great time dancing on this pole, exercising, getting fit, and feeling sexy.

Please note: The original mipole™ is a stationary pole (static) that is strong enough for spinning moves. The mipole™360 has 2 modes: Spinning or Static.

I am afraid the pole will scratch or mark my ceiling. Will it?

The molded rubber pads on the top and bottom of your pole are designed so they won’t mark, scratch, or damage flat and sturdy floors and ceilings. Avoid use on textured surfaces as those may get damaged.

mipole™ TIPS

All customers are unique and each has their own preferences. Here are some tips and recommendations that you may find helpful:

Threaded Rod:

The very fine precision of the threaded rod allows for sturdy installation in differing ceiling heights. Be cautious to keep any dirt, debris, and carpet fibers, etc. out of the grooves of the threaded rod. The threaded rod can be lubricated with a typical household metal lubricant (such as WD-40) prior to installation to ease the process. Do not lubricate the outside of the pole, and be sure to not get lubricant on any gripping surfaces of the pole. A soft wire brush can be used to clean the threads if ever needed.

mipole™ Cover:

The mipole™ cover is provided to cover the threaded metal rod of the base of the pole and the spinning mechanism on the spinning pole. The cover helps to keep debris out of the metal threads, as well as toes/legs/fingers/arms from contacting the threads during the dance routine.

From a design point, the cover provides a function as well as creating a clean look to the pole, and we recommend the cover be used. There is a very fine transition from the diameter of the chrome pole to the diameter of the cover, and some dancers prefer a completely smooth line to the end of the pole, so they remove the cover from the pole for their preference.

mipole™ Gloves:

mipole™ gloves are designed to increase your grip on the pole to enhance your moves and dancing. Available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large, with Medium being the most popular size to fit most hands. These gloves have a tack surface for gripping on the palm side and a soft stretch material on the top of hand side for a great fit. Velcro closure at wrist.

Extra Parts and Tool Wrench:

Keep any extra parts currently not being used in the carry bag so they can be easily found when needed, especially if the mipole™ is installed in different areas with various ceiling heights. For instance, you may not need the 6-inch extension piece and second pink connector for your installation today but may need it another time.

mipole™ LED Pole Light:

This battery-operated LED Light was created and designed by mipole and fits all poles from 45 mm to 50 mm in diameter. The effect is great colorful lighting for you and your pole. It can be set to steady flashing OR sound-responsive flashing so it will flash to the beat of your music.

Lateral Forces:

The mipole is designed for a wide variety of typical pole dance moves and is sturdy enough for advanced spins and flips. HOWEVER, it is NOT designed for extreme lateral (sideways) forces such as running and jumping onto the pole. This is not pole dancing. Extreme lateral forces on the pole can cause the threads to “kink” and make disassembling the pole more difficult and create a need for replacing the parts that were damaged.
